DESCRIPTION:
Omega 3 & 6 Plus 9 is an essential fatty acid (EFA) dietary supplement that provides the appropriate ratio of omega 3, 6 and 9 necessary to promote a healthy coat and skin. A deficiency of EFA is a frequent cause of lustreless coat.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
1g per 7kg bodyweight per day (1g = 1.5mL / 1 pump), or as directed by your veterinarian, to be administered orally.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
Omega 3 and omega 6 are polyunsaturated fats. Omega 9 is a monounsaturated fat. These types of fats are commonly known as “good fats”. It is essential to add omega oils to your pet’s diet because your pet is unable to produce them on its own. Many diets that contain omega oils however, contain high levels of omega 6 but not enough omega 3. Most Omega supplements contain Omega 3 (Linolenic Acid) and Omega 6 (Linoleic Acid) but not Omega 9 (Oleic Acid). Omega 3 & 6 Plus 9 contains all three.
Why does your pet need omega 3, 6 and 9?
If there is too much omega 6 in the diet, it will suppress the absorption of omega 3. Omega 9 oils, however, will dilute the omega 6, and thereby limit the effects of excessive inflammatory responses whilst restoring the ratio of omega 3 to omega 6. You need all 3 omega oils to be effective.

What does each Omega oil do?
* Omega 3 (Linolenic Acid) plays a vital role in the formation of cell walls and assists with dry skin.
