Value Plus Biotin is a hoof growth supplement that aids in the treatment of abnormal hoof growth due to the deficiency of dietary biotin.
The use of supplemental biotin is the most important factor for the growth of a normal hoof wall. It has been used successfully in equine hoof care for over twenty years. Supplementation needs to be continued over several months to achieve substantial improvement in the quality and growth rate of the hoof. Once the hoof has strengthened, it is recommended to continue using biotin to prevent the hoof wall from deteriorating.
An added bonus of using biotin regularly is that along with strong, healthy hooves, biotin also helps with a shiny coat and healthy skin.
Value Plus Biotin also contains calcium and montmorillonite. Calcium is essential for bone growth and montmorillonite slows the fermentation of grains and pellets, thus helping to reduce circulating endotoxin levels and to maintain blood supply to the hoof.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Each bucket comes with a measuring spoon that holds 30 grams.
Mix with food as required.
Ponies and weanlings: 60g (2 scoops) once daily
Light horses (300kg): 90g (3 scoops) once daily
Medium horses (400-500kg): 60g (2 scoops) twice daily
Heavy horses (600kg): 90g (3 scoops) twice daily
Treatment should be continued for six to nine months for maximum therapeutic effect.
